The Marine Institute Students' Union (MISU) is YOUR student's union at the Marine Institute. By pooling resources of students at the Marine Institute, the Students' Union is able to represent the needs and concerns of students as well as provide members with a variety of services. Students at the Marine Institute work together with more than half a million students across Canada, including all post-secondary education students in Newfoundland and Labrador through the Canadian Federation of Students. As members of the Canadian Federation of Students, the Students' Union works collectively with nearly 80 students' Unions across the country to ensure that student issues and concerns are represented to the provincial and federal governments. The Marine Institute Students' Union is Local 45 of the Canadian Federation of Students. It's your students' union so get active, get involved!
